Hello from Europe

band in europe

I apologize for the recent lack of blog entries here. It’s been a busy time, to say the least. I’ve recently become a fill-in DJ over on SiriusXM’s classic country channel, Willie’s Roadhouse. Between that and my usual Bluegrass Junction duties, I was recently on the air for something like 28 straight days, some days working both channels.

We’re getting set to start our “Made to Move: Europe” 2017 tour. In fact, I’m writing this from a train through southern Germany at the moment. We started the tour in Bietigheim-Bissingen on Friday (May 19), then on to the Buehl Bluegrass Festival, then on from there (details are on our tour page). This will be our first European tour with Gina Clowes on banjo, and our first tour of Europe with our new CD “Made to Move.”

Speaking of “Made to Move,” we’ve been thrilled with the response to our first single release, “I’m a Wanderer,” which hit #1 on the Bluegrass Today airplay chart four separate times. Meanwhile, our brand new single, Range Road 53 has already been in the top 10 and will be our European show opener throughout this tour.

Here are some pictures from my first few days here in Switzerland and southern Germany. More updates and pictures to follow.
