In spite of the fact that I’m posting this on April 1st, I have some newsworthy items to pass on that are actually true:
First of all, even though our latest #1 single release, “Where I Am” has just reemerged in the top 10 of Bluegrass Today’s weekly chart, we have just released a brand new single, “You’re My Family Now.” The song was co-written by me, Night Drivers’ bass player Jon Weisberger, and Chris Stuart. The song is from our latest album on Rebel Records, Lonely Comes Easy, and is the tale of a couple forced to make a terrible choice between their life together and their threatening families. You can see us performing the song live at the Laurel Theater in Knoxville, TN (linked above).
In other big news, we have just been added to the 2014 Delfest lineup. We’ll be performing there on Friday and Saturday of this coming Memorial Day Weekend. This adds to an already very busy April and May that will see us performing in the Chicago area, Branson, MO, Auburn, AL, and three different festivals in North Carolina, including Merlefest. Check the tour dates page for all the details.
See you soon!
